Curriculum
Our curriculum is called Lyrically Living. We intend to allow students time for a Brain Break before entering the classroom to leave behind any stress and after the class to allow students to prepare to go home. We also plan to have students journal about the strengths and weaknesses they found during the class and share them with others. This will prompt honesty and acceptance as well as letting students know that they are not alone in their struggles. We will promote community by having the students give each other compliments after sharing their journals.
